When you say there is no doubt about the meaning of „Caesar's death”, I quite agree with you but there is no doubt because there is no doubt about the logically admissible verifications. There is doubt only about
matters of experience e.g. whether as a matter of fact such & such phenomena are regularly followed by certain experience which we call seeing a man dying, etc.
