If I use the expression “I have toothache” I may think of it as ‘being used naturally’ or otherwise. But || ; but it would be wrong to say that I had a reason for thinking either. – It is very queer that all the importance of our expressions seems to come from that X, Y, Z, the private experiences, which for ever remain in the background & can't be drawn into the foreground.
     But is a cry when it is a cry of pain not a mere cry?
