We very often use the reflexive form when we wish to emphasize || lay an emphasis on something & its meaning & such expressions can then always be straightened out: Thus we say a man's a man
      À la guerre comme, à la guerre.
     If I can't I can't. || , I am what I am.
     That's that.
     Take it or leave it.
     It either rains or it doesn't rain.

     This is no piece of information; if it rains we shall ‒ ‒ ‒
There must be a greatest number of examples let it be 500.
